About Terry
RESIDENTIAL + COMMERCIAL
REAL ESTATE BROKER
A little about Terry
The nice people who have designed my website have asked me to put together a couple of words about me to try to give you an idea about my personality and if I might be a good fit for you as you search for either a residential or commercial Broker to serve you.
I am Sudbury born. My parents came to Sudbury after WW2 from Ukraine. We didn’t have a lot growing up but back then it didn’t matter. A loving and warm home, wonderful meals and a family that was a safe refuge when things got crazy. A car was a luxury. So much has changed – “nice to haves” have become “must haves” over the years. But that’s progress!
I became a Realtor about 8 years ago and earned my Brokers designation two years ago. Prior to that I have had some very interesting jobs – I worked at Molson and Labatt breweries across Canada eventually
landing senior management positions in marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, sports and entertainment. My experience in sports and entertainment landed me a job at the Toronto Blue Jays as one of three senior executives running the team for the Owners as they looked to sell the team. It was a great gig.
After that I worked in software and auto parts manufacturing for some Fortune 50 companies in Ottawa and Detroit. Fourteen years ago I moved back to Sudbury to marry my high school sweetheart Pierrette. I ended up with two great daughters out of the deal and my granddaughter Ayla and grandson Kaleb. Terrific times all the time.
So that brings me to today. I have moved no less than eleven times, each time buying or selling a home. I know about stress and budgets. My wife and I own several income properties so I know about that too. I count some of Sudbury’s best and largest property owners as friends and clients. And I also count many homeowners that I have served as Friends. I love what I do. I have a passion for real estate and love making a deal. It’s not about beating a Seller or Buyer up in
negotiations. No one wins if anyone loses. Being fair and honest with my Clients means more to me than how much commission I make.
A wise young lady once told me “ If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life!” Isn’t that the truth!
